The Entrance Heritage Walk

Enjoy a stroll along The Entrance foreshore for stunning views of the sparkling blue estuary, channel, ocean beach, surf club and ocean baths. Signboards along the boardwalk reveal the history of this fascinating area.

The wide boardwalk is fairly flat and suitable for prams and wheelchairs. There are numerous seats along the way to rest or just soak up the ever changing views.

If you are feeling energetic you could end the walk with a refreshing dip in the ocean baths or at the patrolled beach.

The walk from the Memorial Park to the surf club is less than a kilometre. You can also walk the other way, under The Entrance Bridge to Picnic Point on Tuggerah Lake – also less than a kilometre.

For those with more time on their hands you can keep on walking past the surf club along the coastline to Toowoon Bay before cutting across suburbia to reach Tuggerah Lake and following the bike track back to The Entrance town Centre. This walk is called the Scenic walk which takes a good 3 or 4 hours.
