Boating around The Entrance

Explore the beautiful Tuggerah Lake and The Entrance channel by boat, kayak or stand up paddle board.

The Entrance Boatshed, located below The Entrance Bridge was built in 1927 to cater for the growing needs of visitors wanting to fish, prawn or boat on the lake. The boatshed hires out motor boats (from $40 per hour including fuel and lifejackets), stand up paddle boards ($25/hr), kayaks ($25/hr) and fishing rods ($10 per day).  If your dog likes a day on the water, then bring them along as well – just pack a water bowel and doggie bags. A Car Driver’s Licence and deposit are required for all hires. A Boat Licence is not required.

The Boatshed also sells bait, fishing licences, fishing and prawning gear, drinks, ice creams, hats and souvenirs. Staff are friendly and always happy to dispense their knowledge  on the best boating and fishing hotspots. The Entrance Boatshed is open from 8am till 4pm, 7 days a week, weather permitting. Contact them on (02) 4332 2652.
